Ferrari's launch - This year's F1 car from the Scuderia features a long nose and new suspension

The F2007. It looks a bit weird, with odd yellow things like eyeballs and a very long nose.

But, paintjob aside, the main changes are in the chassis. Modifications for the new suspension, revised sidepods and radiators, plus an improved gearbox.

Felipe Massa took the car out at Fiorano in a swamp of fog. "I've seen the car, the sensations are good. We need to start running it to get on with the programme... The car is very beautiful, it has a lot of details... the front suspension is quite different."

I don't really like it, but I'm much too quick to judge Ferrari's and say things like with that. I don't really have a reason to not like it, but that's the way it goes.

Jean Todt has been talking about the team's need for improvement this year over the last couple of disappointing seasons. "Last year we were competitive but not reliable enough. So we absolutely have to get back to the levels of the years 2000 to 2004 when we were victorious."

It's not very often you hear a team talking about wanting to take steps backwards.
