Fastest laps - Spain 2014 // Sebastian Vettel speeds to the fastest time in Barcelona

Vettel finds himself some lap time on Sunday

Sebastian Vettel returned to a more familiar position for the defending champion, securing the fastest lap of a race. Towards the end of the Spanish Grand Prix, Vettel posted the fastest time, ending up four tenths faster than the next placed Mercedes. Teammate Daniel Ricciardo was a full second further down the road.

Towards the rear of the field, Marcus Ericsson was last on the list, four seconds slower than Vettel's fastest time.
