The rain finally came down in Malaysia and it turned things upside down in qualifying. Free Practice had lulled us into a false sense of security but qualifying showed us that nothing is a given. Find out all that happened in today's F1 Digest.
Free Practice was slow going, with dry running for both sessions on Friday, and McLaren showing really well. Once Saturday arrived, concerns about the weather were at the forefront of everyone's mind, and thus the build up to qualifying began.
With so many big names out in the first session, it was bound to be an exciting Q3. We didn't know that it would be red flagged, but thankfully the delay was short and the action saw Webber come out on top.
McLaren and Ferrari are pretty philosophical about things today, you can't control the weather, right? There are a few complaints about traffic, some worries over the tyres but mostly drivers are looking forward to (or dreading) the race tomorrow.
