Qualifying in Australia wasn't as exciting as one would have hoped, but with the added problems of severe traffic and light rain, there was plenty to keep an eye on. F1 Digest guides you through all the action.
Kobayashi had some worrying moments, whilst Glock, Chandhok and Senna all struggled with reliability issues. Traffic was of particular concern when we realised just how tight the Albert Park circuit can be.
The threat of rain was hanging over the track for the entire session and although it didn't really interfere with the event, there were some adjustments to strategies as a contingency.
The overwhelming feeling from the new teams is that they are more satisfied than they were this time last race. Hamilton isn't too happy but doesn't know where it all went wrong, whilst Rosberg is also disappointed, despite finishing ahead of Schumacher again.
