The Turkish Grand Prix gets underway in style, with a red flagged first session, and a low key second session, although there were some surprises in store.
A slight problem with some of the landscape gardening saw some time lost during this session but that was nothing compared to the relaxed attitude of the teams due to the dust.
Vettel was the big casualty of the afternoon, only managing to complete a handful of laps, but somehow he still managed to finish pretty high up the order.
BMW are starting to feel as though they're on the way back up, and their new double diffuser might be helping them along the way. Most of the others are concerned that the poor track condition told them very little about their position today and that we'll find out more as the weekend progresses.
