A couple of engine issues spiced things up a little, but it was McLaren's day all round. The new boys both shone and failed, and we cover it all in today's F1 Digest.
Vettel caused all manner of chaos in the morning, as his engine gave up the ghost and spewed oil out on track. Those last five minutes were worth watching though.
Badoer was woeful, but is treating this weekend as a test, apparently. McLaren certainly turned things around, but never discount those Brawn cars.
Even the BMW boys are relatively optimistic, Force India have improved, and Toyota aren't faring too badly. It seems as though Valencia is treating most of the teams well.
