Our first glimpse of the 2009 cars in action culminated in some mixed views - we saw what we expected to see, but is it to be believed? Plus, Rosberg does exceptionally well, whilst Vettel has some issues to overcome.
They emerged, blinking into the pale sunlight, and we instantly saw that the diffusers are making a difference. However, Ferrari were able to keep up, whilst Vettel's machinery couldn't even keep on track.
Once again, Vettel found himself walking back to the pitlane, which scuppered Red Bull's running a little, however they found themselves the only team able to break the diffuser dominance in the afternoon.
McLaren are not at all phased by what they have seen out on track today, but know they've got plenty of work ahead of them. Likewise, BMW are struggling to find the right setup. Many, many teams and drivers are concerned about the tyres, and want to see what happens when they are running equal fuel in qualifying.
