Our aim in this episode was to compare our assumptions going into the Australian Grand Prix with what actually occurred. Along the way that encompasses the sound of silence, who lost their cool under pressure and Melbourne's magic number.
We start with the thing that almost everyone got right, that Mercedes would have the edge. But it didn't go all their way and we discuss the early retirements from the race last weekend. We also ponder which drivers impressed, as well as those that didn't make fools of themselves. There's also time to chat about which drivers we had hoped for more from.
Looking at the rookie's first Formula One experience, and touching upon the two big controversies - fuel flow and engine noise - this episode of F1 Debrief is packed full of reaction from round one of the 2014 F1 season. Ultimately, it was a good start and we're hoping for more from Malaysia!
