Coming up on this show, we discuss silent but deadly Sutil, why we are not the definitive word, and DC's near miss.
Things are all falling apart without Ted and his excellent news.
It has been a good week for Timo Glock who has signed up with Virgin Racing for a longer deal, although he's a bit coy about confirming how long. It's also good for Narain Karthikeyan, who may have thought he was gone for good, but came back to drive in Free Practice for HRT.
It's been a bad week for David Coulthard who embarrassed himself a little bit during a demo run at the Nüburgring, thank goodness for Mika Häkkinen. Also, a bad week for Kamui Kobayashi and his girlfriend, as neither managed to enjoy their trip around the full circuit.
There was massive news on the Friday, when some of the driver's stitching needed sorting out. In real news, we saw the return of Chandhok to the race seat for qualifying, Kobayashi dropping out early, and Vettel failing, if you can call third a bit of a fail. Qualifying was somewhat improved from what we have seen previously this year, and we discuss why.
The world feed coverage left a lot to be desired, and made watching the race frustrating. But getting over that was easy when we were dealt such a treat. Webber couldn't keep his lead, and handed it over to Hamilton who did a supreme job, but the battle for the win was intriguing throughout. We discuss Button's team letting him down, the non-existent incident between Heidfeld and Di Resta, and the far more obvious incident between Heidfeld and Buemi.
We also listen to a couple of voicemails and ponder what was going on with those last lap pitstops, plus how we might improve the track.
Just one bit of feedback this week, from someone watching three F1 races in one sitting!
