Europe 2012 - Free Practice 3 results // Jenson Button heads third practice in Valencia ahead of F1 qualifying

Published by Christine

Jenson Button headed to the very top of the timesheets after what has appeared to be a more promising start to the race weekend. The McLaren driver held off the Lotus duo, who also showed improved pace, along with surprising speed from the Force India drivers. Further back, Mark Webber was confined to the garage after only four laps, as the team found a problem with the car. Sebastian Vettel only finished 13th with a medium tyre time, whilst Fernando Alonso locked up during his fast run pushing him down the order to 12th.
