Europe 2011 - Qualifying result - Red Bull reign in Valencia, with Hamilton ahead of the two Ferrari drivers

Published by Christine

Despite all speculation that the engine mapping rule tweak might make a difference to qualifying, it was still Sebastian Vettel who reigned supreme today in Valencia. At one point, it looked as though Mark Webber might drop out in Q1, but he managed to keep it together and get through to the top ten.

Lewis Hamilton squeezed ahead of the Ferrari drivers, whilst neither Heidfeld nor Sutil chose to run in the final session.
