Europe 2011 - Free Practice 3 result - Vettel returned to the top of the timesheets on Saturday morning

Published by Christine

Sebastian Vettel brushed off any lingering thoughts of his slow time in FP1 by topping the timesheets in final practice this morning. Ferrari still seem to be Red Bull's nearest rival at the moment, with the McLaren drivers finishing 5th and 7th - a Mercedes tucked between them. The only major incident of the hour was Kamui Kobayashi locking up his tyres and tapping the Sauber against the barrier. He got back to the pitlane, and will be patched up in time for qualifying.
