Europe 2011 - Free Practice 2 results - Ferrari go fastest as Force India complete their repairs

Published by Christine

There were more laps completed this afternoon than in the first session, and the pace dropped considerably, as the drivers bolted soft tyres onto their cars. Fernando Alonso topped Red Bull, but it seemed as though Sebastian Vettel was back on form, finishing third. Paul di Resta returned to the car but only after a lengthy delay as the mechanics tried to fix Hülkenberg's damage. Alguersuari had to sit out the session due to an engine fault.
