Nico Rosberg managed to close the gap to championship leader and teammate Lewis Hamilton, with just 17 points between them. The poor finish for Valtteri Bottas, due to seat belt and pit stop woes, meant that he dropped two places in one go - it's such a tight battle for 4th, 5th and 6th place in the standings.

Kimi Räikkönen also managed to move up a position, whilst Felipe Massa's podium place didn't gain him any solid positions in the standings but did help him close the gap to Jenson Button.
