Sidepodcast - All for F1 and F1 for all

Come for a drink, or just come to say "hi" - The 12th annual Sidepodmeetup is approaching fast, will you be there?

Published by Amy Fulton

Hello you. Do you live in London? Or don’t mind travelling there? Are you booked up six weeks from Thursday? If so and if not, why not come along to the 12th annual** Sidepodmeetup? You’ll get to spend an evening with a whole bunch of people who hang out on this website, including our lovely hosts Christine and the mysterious Mr C. Imagine being able to tell your grandchildren you saw his face!

If that’s not enough to get you in the door I don’t know what is.

Since I am a resident of the other side of the world I’ve only made it to a Sidepodmeetup once before. Have a read of the comments in the daily post from that day. See how much everyone who wasn’t at the pub wished they were there? Don’t let yourself have the same regrets! I was scared and a bit shy about meeting lots of people last time but everyone was so welcoming and friendly that I had an amazing night. You could too!

So where and when will you find this group of fantastic company?

Meetup details
VenueThe unofficial official Sidepodpub: The Coal Hole, 91-92 Strand, London, WC2R 0DW. We generally can be found upstairs.
( Coal Hole website )
DateThursday, 26 July
TimePrevious events have started around 6-7pm, so aiming for then would be good.
DirectionsThe nearest tube stations are Charing Cross, Covent Garden and Embankment. On foot, the pub is on the Strand roughly mid-way between Charing Cross station and Waterloo Bridge. If you're coming from Covent Garden, the road meets the Strand directly opposite The Coal Hole.

DinnerI’m a big fan of food and I’ve already studied the Coal Hole menu and started dreaming about what I’m going to eat for dinner, if you want to do the same you can find it below.

I just wanted to make it clear that this isn’t a Sidepoddinner though so you don’t have to eat. Come for a drink, or just come to say "hi".

Let us know if you’re coming in the comments, I look forward to seeing you there!

(**Possibly not the 12th meetup and they’re definitely not held annually.)
