The first matchup between Alonso and Petrov was a closely contested battle - which in itself was a bit of a surprise. I've seen a few people suggesting that this Cup has an obvious winner, but I don't think anything can be taken for granted when it comes to voting.

Nico Hülkenberg

Hülkenberg made his F1 debut this year, partnered with the ever cheerful Barrichello at Williams. The German joins Petrov as one of the 2010 rookies who is scoring points and finishing regularly, but he's also garnering a bit of a reputation for losing the front wing of the car. When it comes to the paddock, Hulk is one of the quieter drivers, but we may hear more from him at his upcoming home Grand Prix.

Sébastien Buemi

Buemi missed out on last year's Character Cup due to not having a teammate in time for the selection process... and for mathematical reasons as well. This year, he's getting his chance to shine, so can he take it? From plaintive wails on the team radio, to admitting he collected the Panini World Cup stickers, Buemi is certainly starting to come out of his shell.
