Canada 2011 - Qualifying results - Ferrari showed better pace in Montreal but missed out on the top spot

Published by Christine

With all the wall-crashing out of the way in the practice sessions, we saw a clean qualifying with Sebastian Vettel securing his sixth pole position of seven races. Behind him, both Ferrari drivers showed increased pace, with Massa back on form and scrabbling with Alonso for a front row slot - he just missed out. The 107% rule came into effect once more, as Jérôme D'Ambrosio struggled to keep up with the rest of the field, but the FIA have ruled he will be able to race.
