Jenson Button continues miss testing due to his rib injury from a recent karting accident. Honda have confirmed that the Brit is planning to skip the upcoming test in Jerez so as not to risk injuring himself further.

Button hasn't tested the water with his new Bridgestone tyres yet, but everyone seems to be still getting used to the new setups, and this shouldn't set him back too much. As long as the car is still getting the work, Button should be able to catch up.

Honda are evaluating the situation again at the end of this week to decide whether Button can return to the driver's seat for the final test just before Christmas.
