Britain 2012 - Free Practice 2 results - Lewis Hamilton leads a second sodden session at Silverstone

The rain barely let up all day, and thus second practice was not much faster than the first. Lewis Hamilton was the fastest driver, with Kamui Kobayashi second and Michael Schumacher third. The Sauber of Kobayashi has been strong so far this weekend, but conditions mean we can read nothing into the times as yet. Those struggling included Bruno Senna, who crashed into the barriers backwards and caused a red flag. Fernando Alonso also found the tyre barriers with his front wing, but only after the session had drawn to a close. Those not setting a time included Grosjean, Ricciardo, Webber and De la Rosa.
