Clouds loomed ominously over the track but any rain held off for the final hour of practice. Jenson Button led the way, with Sebastian Vettel making a late surge up the order to finish second. Kimi Räikkönen had a tough time, after his practice engine blew up, leaving him stranded without a laptime and at the side of the track.
