An eventful start to proceedings saw the usual suspects fall to the back. Heikki Kovalainen suffered to the most, encountering a lot of traffic. The second session had less drama, although Jenson Button was a big name fallout. The highlight of the day culminated in a fantastic debut pole position by Nico Hülkenberg.
