Belgium 2012 - Qualifying results // Jenson Button secures his first pole position since joining McLaren

Published by Christine

The rain stayed away for qualifying, with blue skies and plenty of sunshine overhead. Jenson Button was fast throughout the sessions, and took his first pole position since Monaco 2009, thus being his first for McLaren. The unusual grid saw Rosberg fall at the first hurdle, and Vettel at the second, whilst Kamui Kobayashi and Pastor Maldonado both impressed. The stage is set for a great race tomorrow.
