Belgium 2012 - Free Practice 1 results - A damp start to the weekend sees Kamui Kobayashi on top

Published by Christine

The rain came tumbling down as the Belgian Grand Prix weekend got underway with first practice this morning at Spa. All 24 drivers hit the track, although Felipe Massa didn't set a time, completing just two installation laps. The Ferrari pulled to a stop out on track with engine trouble, halting the Brazilian's running. Kamui Kobayashi posted the fastest time, completing the lap in 2:11, whilst behind him were Pastor Maldonado and Daniel Ricciardo.
