Belgium 2011 - Free Practice 1 results - Schumacher tops the timesheets as rain hits the session

Free Practice Friday at Spa got off to a clear start, allowing just a little bit of dry running and Michael Schumacher to jump to the top of the timesheets before the rain came in. Karun Chandhok was in the car for Lotus, with Heikki Kovalainen keeping a watchful eye on him back in the garage. Bruno Senna had some pressure on his shoulders, thanks to replacing Nick Heidfeld at Renault, and it showed. The Brazilian spun the car into the tyres just over halfway through the session. Paul di Resta also spun off in the same place.
