Australia 2011 - Race results - Vettel turned pole position into victory in Melbourne

Published by Christine

The race of 2011 sees F1 continue in much the same vain as the last race of 2010. Familiar names dominated the day, with Sebastian Vettel taking an easy win, but don't discount the new and improved. Vitaly Petrov and Sergio Pérez both impressed - Petrov finished on the podium, and Pérez picked up points on his debut. There were five retirements, and a couple of collisions and few made it through the race completely unscathed.
