Abu Dhabi Young Driver test 2011 - Day 1 results - Red Bull continue dominance into off-season testing

I'm sure it comes as no surprise to see Red Bull top of yet another timesheet, this time with young driver Jean-Éric Vergne behind the wheel. He was almost a second faster than the next place Ferrari, but given some of the photographs of odd contraptions attached to the Prancing Horse, the Italian squad were concentrating more on data collection than speed. Meanwhile, Williams continued to struggle with their driver Valtteri Bottas confined to the garage with gearbox problems. He eventually managed to set a time good enough for seventh.
