Abu Dhabi 2012 - Race results // Kimi Räikkönen takes a surprising victory in a hectic race

Published by Christine

All the focus was on Sebastian Vettel for the race in Abu Dhabi, and quite rightly so as the Red Bull driver made his way up the order to finish on the podium. Meanwhile, there were several safety cars, and plenty of retirements - one of which was race leader Lewis Hamilton. Fernando Alonso managed to stay ahead of Vettel to close the title battle up a bit, whilst Kimi Räikkönen secured his first victory since the comeback.
