A Lap of Hockenheim with Mark Webber - Red Bull provide a info-packed preview for the German Grand Prix

Published by Mr. C

Silverstone race winner and self proclaimed number two driver, Mark Webber, takes his place in the Red Bull Racing simulator for a single flying lap of the neutered Hockenheimring circuit, in Germany.

The German Grand Prix continues to alternate between two different tracks year-on-year, despite the return of Michael Schumacher to the F1 grid. 2010 sees Hockenheim take its turn and although Webber does his optimistic best to find some overtaking spots, and highlight the crowd-friendly stadium complex, it's hard to shake the feeling things aren't as good as they used to be.

I'm quite disappointed the simulator doesn't detail Mark's front wing configuration, it would fun to compare if Sebastian Vettel is shown favouritism in the virtual world as well. Webber showed Vettel the way around his home Grand Prix last year, we'll find out this weekend if simulator time helps him do it again.
