This is F1Minute - Young Driver Test in Magny-Cours comes to a close.

Jules Bianchi returned for his third day of testing in Magny-Cours today, this time back in the Ferrari after a stint in the Force India yesterday. Regardless of which car he was in, Bianchi finished each day on top - today was almost half a second slower than his time from yesterday.

It rained during the morning, which meant the young drivers trying out the intermediate tyres, but conditions were not badenough to stop the laps being clocked up. Bianchi completed 136 tours of the circuit, whilst Rodolfo González did 79 for Force India, finishing the day second, and Brendon Hartley was able to complete 87 for Mercedes.

Talking of his day out, Hartley said: “The track was quite wet this morning so we lost some time but once it had dried out we were able to get on... I’m happy with my performance and pleased that it only took a couple of runs before I was on the pace, as it’s been three years since I last drove a Formula One car.”

And Jules Bianchi says he is confident about moving up, saying of his three day test: “I feel even more ready for F1 now.”
