This is F1Minute - Williams announce growth in interim financial reports.
Williams have released interim figures for their shareholders, for the first half of 2011. The team were floated on the stock exchange in March, and all the key indicators look good. Turnover is up 5%, profit is up even after investment in Williams Hybrid Power and their Technology Centre in Qatar. They are expecting full year results to show a growth anywhere between 12 and 20%.
Frank Williams commented: “The first half of 2011 shows momentum in our diversified growth, building on the foundations we laid in 2010.” And CEO Adam Parr added: “We have made several senior new appointments in engineering and aerodynamics, bolstering both our team devoted to improving track-side performance, and supporting our Jaguar Land Rover partnership.”
Meanwhile, Renault have confirmed deals with four new sponsors including well-known razor brand Gillette and health company Auden McKenzie. Bruno Senna’s personal sponsor Embratel are expanding onto the car, whilst OGX - a Brazilian oil company - are also joining the fun.
