Sauber confident fuel troubles resolved for Malaysia - Monisha hopes the problem on Hülkenberg's car will not reappear

Team Principal at Sauber, Monisha Kaltenborn, has assured fans that the engineers have been working on the problem that saw Nico Hülkenberg sit out the first race of the year in Melbourne, and they are confident he will be back on the grid this weekend in Malaysia.
Describing the issue, Kaltenborn said: “What happened was that many factors led to the creation of a vacuum in the fuel cell - so it collapsed on itself. That damaged the fuel cell.”
She went on to add that there was testing done both at the track and at the factory in Switzerland, and the team are sure it won’t happen again. She said: “We have introduced a couple of measures, and looked at different reasons that should lead us to solve the problem.”
Meanwhile, Chief Designer Matt Morris is looking forward to Nico racing so they can get a benchmark. He has said of Australia: “If Nico had been in it, we would know better where we are. We’ve got no major problems, we just have to put some more performance on it and there is still some more to be had.”
