Welcome to F1Minute - Rivals concede Vettel has 2011 title wrapped up.

After Sebastian Vettel’s dominant win at Monza this weekend, most of the front-running drivers and teams are starting to concede that the title battle is over. Felipe Massa has admitted that it would take quite a lot for Vettel not to win, saying: “I think he will just lose the championship if he stops racing now and spends months at home. Only then maybe he could lose the championship.”

Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali continued: “The only thing we can do is to not focus on it. We must try to maximise what we can do, but I would say that Sebastian has the chance in his hands.”

Vettel’s teammate Webber also agrees, he says: “I think we’re all battling for second now. I think Seb needs to have an incredibly disappointing finish to the season for anyone to take the championship off him at this point.”

The only team remaining positive on the title front is McLaren, with Martin Whitmarsh saying: “It is definitely possible but... Sebastian is not making enough mistakes for my liking at the moment, but we will see.”
