Hello, this is F1Minute for the 24th September 2010.
It was Free Practice Friday in Singapore today, and we had yet another driver change to behold as Sakon Yamamoto was apparently struck down with food poisoning and replaced by Christian Klien in the HRT car. There are rumours circulating that Sakon is not all that sick and that it may be a sponsorship thing, but all I know is that Klien was at least a couple of seconds off the pace in both sessions.
It was a better day for Red Bull, as Webber led a rather damp FP1, ahead of a surprisingly quick Schumacher and Sutil, whilst order was restored in FP2 with Vettel ahead of Webber and Button.
Adrian Sutil was fined $10,000 after he did some rather serious damage to the front of his car and then returned slowly to the pitlane, with no steering on the front left tyre. The stewards deemed it was unsafe and he should have left the track and given up the session.
Finally, Nico Hülkenberg will take a five place grid drop from wherever he qualifies tomorrow as the gearbox on his car has to be changed.
