This is F1Minute - Lewis Hamilton halts Red Bull’s pole position domination in Korea.

The Korean weather finally delivered some dry conditions, and after a tentative practice session - in which Bruno Senna crashed and Daniel Ricciardo suffered mechanical problems - qualifying got underway. Ricciardo failed to set a time in Q1, spending most of his time in the garage, and it was Rubens Barrichello who joined the new teams in dropping out of the first session.

In Q2, the Sauber drivers struggled to find pace, with Kamui Kobayashi qualifying 14th and Sergio Pérez 17th. Toro Rosso showed improved form with Jaime Alguersuari just missing out on the top ten by qualifying 11th, and Sébastien Buemi settling for 13th. Michael Schumacher also missed out on the top ten, finishing 12th.

Into the top ten shootout, and once again both Force India drivers opted not to attempt a lap time, saving their tyres instead. Lewis Hamilton posted the fastest time, looking back on form on track, but slightly grumpy off track. Sebastian Vettel missed out by two tenths of a second, with Jenson Button third.
