This is F1Minute - Infiniti become title sponsor of Red Bull for 2013 and beyond.
Before their championship victory with Sebastian Vettel in Brazil this weekend, Red Bull had yet more good news come their way with the announcement of a partnership extension with the Japanese automotive brand Infiniti.
The pair have been partners since early 2011, and have agreed a four-year extension, with Infiniti becoming the title sponsor of the team for next season. They’re also developing the partnership to be more than just a logo on a car, to include working together on engineering projects as well.
Team Principal Christian Horner spoke of their experiences with the company so far: “Infiniti has demonstrated significant technical prowess and I’ve been impressed by the depth of the wider engineering capabilities of the Nissan Motor Company.”
Infiniti is the luxury part of Nissan, who in turn have a strategic commercial partnership with Renault who supply Red Bull, Lotus, Williams and Caterham with F1 engines.
