Force India have set the date for the unveiling of their 2013 challenger as the 1st February, becoming the first team to reveal their launch date for next season. Despite the fact they have not yet confirmed either of their driver lineup, the car will be launched on the 1st February, just ahead of the first pre-season test in Jerez on the 5th.
The team also paid tribute to outgoing driver Nico Hülkenberg, by publishing a review of his season by the man himself on their website. The German is leaving with good memories of Force India, saying: “Pretty much throughout the year we’ve been in a position where we could score points, so we have been competitive. From Europe onwards, it went better again, and we were able to gain some more performance.” The team will be hoping to hit the ground running with that performance in 2013.
Meanwhile, Sauber have also set things in motion for next year, confirming the C32 had passed all its crash tests, is fully homologated and can start testing as soon as possible.
