It was a busy day for three teams who pulled the covers off their 2016 challengers in very different ways. Ferrari had an online launch to promote the SF16-H and it’s new livery - with yet more white creeping in to the iconic red paint scheme. Team boss Maurizio Arrivabene said: “I think this year we need to push a bit more. We’d like to fight until the end for the championship.”

Meanwhile, Williams revealed the FW38 by releasing a couple of pictures of the new car lurking in the factory. It looks similar to 2015’s car and the livery continues to have the Martini stripes. Frank Williams said: “Staying where we are will be a challenge in itself, but we are determined to keep improving because only winning will ever be good enough.”

Finally, Mercedes didn’t specifically launch their car today but they did take the W07 Hybrid to Silverstone for a filming day, and posted an onboard view of a single lap with commentary from Nico Rosberg.
