Hello and welcome, this is F1Minute for the 17th December 2010.

Felipe Massa’s go-kart challenge takes place this weekend and there are a whole heap of recognisable names taking part. Regulars Massa, Barrichello and di Grassi will be there, representing the Brazilians at their home track. Bruno Senna and Jaime Alguersuari will also make an appearance, plus some IndyCar names including Tony Kanaan, Ana Beatriz and Helio Castroneves. It sounds like it’s going to be a brilliant day out.

In similar charity fundraising news, the flight featuring Richard Branson as an air stewardess will take place in February. Tony Fernandes says: “We will make it a party flight, and auction seats for charity, so we may as well go the whole hog by having 12 hours of memorable experiences and fun.”

Now, we are heading straight into Christmas week, so F1Minute will be taking a bit of a break. I will wish you happy holidays and see you again in January.
