This is F1Minute - Adrian Sutil won’t wait for 2012 seat news.
Force India are gearing up for their home race this weekend, but driver Adrian Sutil is getting frustrated with the lack of information about his seat for next season. The team traditionally leave their driver announcements until later in the year, but Sutil isn’t happy about the delay.
He said: “I can’t wait until December. I will speak to Mallya soon and see what his ideas are. I don’t need to wait so long for a seat. I think I know what I can do, so I don’t feel insecure.”
For his part, Vijay Mallya has already dismissed talk of next season, saying he is focusing on the current constructor’s championship before he turns his attention to anything else. The team are currently leading Sauber by just nine points.
Of this weekend’s race, the team boss said: “This is a very important weekend for Sahara Force India and we are all determined to be as competitive as possible. I want to savour every moment of what will surely be one of the most spectacular events of the season and the start of a great Formula 1 tradition in India.”
