Welcome to F1Minute for the 26th October 2009.
It seems like every single driver believes he can win the final race of the season, with Webber confident that with his Red Bull, and their strong results at Singapore, the chances are good he can qualify well and finish on a high. Another driver hoping to do just that is Räikkönen, who will be driving his last race for Ferrari this weekend. He said: “This season wasn’t as competitive as we wanted, but at least we managed to win one race and we gained a certain amount of points. Let’s hope we can conclude the season with something nice to be remembered.”
It’s also worth mentioning that Toyota will make their final decision over whether Timo Glock will race in Abu Dhabi or not tomorrow. The medical reports have so far looked as though he would not be ready to get back in the car, allowing Kobayashi another stint behind the wheel. However, we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out for sure.
That’s all for now, please join me tomorrow for another F1Minute.
