Hello and welcome to F1Minute for the 23rd March 2010.
Adrian Sutil had a pretty strong outing in Bahrain, until the first lap incident with Kubica hampered his points scoring chances. He believes he can do better this weekend: “Now we want to go even higher in Australia. I think there is still potential to improve everything and get close to the top five or six.”
Mark Webber has offered up one of my favourite descriptions of the year so far: “Yea, we had a few niggles on Friday, but Ferrari had a lot of plates spinning in that race too in terms of things going on in the background.” I didn’t see any plates spinning, but that would be brilliant, wouldn’t it?
Finally, now that the FIA have reopened the application process for teams who want to be on the 2011 grid, Epsilon Euskadi are rumoured to be checking out the possibility of having another go. They were rejected from the 2010 process.
That’s all for today, please join me tomorrow for another F1Minute.
