Today is the 20th October 2009 and this is F1Minute.
Ross Brawn has said that the next race may be an interesting one in Button’s career. He said: “The second half of the season has not been great, by his admission and our admission, but each time he has come back and recovered from difficult situations. I am fascinated to see how Abu Dhabi will go because the pressure is off and he will be uncaged.” Meanwhile, the man himself has said that he is now ready to talk to the team about extending his contract, admitting: “I’m certainly going to put some pressure on them but I’m not that expensive.”
Finally, Christian Horner has said that although they weren’t successful this year, the season will make them stronger in the future. “We must remember that we are still an independent team and I think the team can be very proud of what it has achieved this year. As I said, we will only get stronger as a group going into next year.”
That’s all for today, I’ll be back tomorrow with another F1Minute.
