This is F1Minute for the 8th October 2009.
Bruno Senna has been talking about his chances of getting a race seat in Formula 1 next year and he thinks they are pretty high - in fact, he thinks about 90 per cent. He said: “Obviously the beginning of the year was very tough because people were only talking about double diffusers and regulations, so it’s been really hard to actually have good contact with the teams, because they have been really having some difficult worries about things other than drivers.” However, he adds that he has been in contact with teams, and does have some offers on the table.
Also, this week we have seen both US F1 and Manor F1 take big steps towards being ready for 2010. US F1 were inspected by the FIA, who said they were impressed with their progress, whilst Manor F1 confirm that their first car is being built and should be ready in about a month or so’s time, and will be ready to go out on track at the beginning of February.
That’s all for today, please join me again tomorrow for another F1Minute.
