Secretary General of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic, and World Motor Sport Council member.

Biography

Novak secured his position as Secretary General in 1990, and has held it ever since. He's also been a long-standing President of the FIA's Central Europe operations, holding that role since 1991. In terms of stewarding, he spent time as an observer in some of the rallying championships, as well as autocross and touring cars. He's also participated (and won!) in some rally races in the Czech Republic.

Since 1994, he has played a part in Formula One stewarding, and joined the overseeing World Motorsport Council in 1998. He also holds roles at the Ministry of Sport in his home country, meaning he's a very busy man!
