Biography

Lars has fostered a love of motorsport since he was young, and although he has a real world job of management consulting and local government activities, he's managed to keep involved with all things vehicular as well.

Österlind has been President of the Swedish Rally Commission before moving across to the presidency role of the Swedish Automobile Sport Federation, retiring from the role in 1996 but retaining an honorary status. He has been stewarding for the FIA for many years, presiding over more than 200 events.
