Driver standings - Russian Grand Prix 2017 // Bottas closes the gap as Hülkenberg jumps above Haas

Hülkenberg rises two places to sit 11th in the standings

At the top of the tables, Vettel extended his lead over Lewis Hamilton, whilst Valtteri Bottas' race victory gave him a solid points haul to close in on his teammate from third. Sergio Pérez was the first of the drivers to make progress up the order, leapfrogging Felipe Massa for seventh place. Both the Force India drivers finished in the points, whilst Nico Hülkenberg managed to move ahead of the two Haas drivers (equal on four points each), to move into 11th.

Further down, Lance Stroll still sits on zero points, but has managed to jump up to 16th position, mostly by finished the race, but also by securing a convincing 11th place in the Russia results.
