Free Practice 2 results - Mexican Grand Prix 2017 // Vettel suffers extinguisher leak in scrappy second session

Vettel suffers extinguisher leak in scrappy second session

Second practice in Mexico was close, with the top nine all within a second of each other, but it was Daniel Ricciardo who took the top spot. It wasn't a trouble-free session, however, with many drivers spinning their way around the smooth track. Grosjean had a spin that developed into a puncture, which spread debris across the track and brought out the red flags.

Verstappen had engine issues, whilst Vettel came back into the garage and hopped out of the car quickly after his Ferrari developed an extinguisher leak into the cockpit.
