Fastest laps - Bahrain Grand Prix 2017 - Hamilton secures fastest lap despite Vettel's race victory

The winner of the Bahrain race was only fourth fastest on the laps chart, with even teammate Kimi Räikkönen ahead of him. Lewis Hamilton topped the fastest lap timesheets, with Daniel Ricciardo slotting into second place. Williams found themselves up there on pace, powered by the Mercedes engine, and Force India also had power unit assistance to get them into the top seven.

Despite their solid qualifying pace, Renault were down to 12th and 13th on the list for race pace, with Hülkenberg two tenths ahead of his teammate.
