It was a mixed day of results for drivers, with Grosjean celebrating picking up his first points in the season, and both Felipe Massa and Sergio Pérez also moving up the order. Max Verstappen, however, dropped two positions after brake failure meant he didn't get to the end of the race. That allowed Valtteri Bottas, who finished on the podium, and Kimi Räikkönen, who just missed out, to move up.

Out front, Sebastian Vettel remains in the lead of the championship, this time returning to the seven point buffer between himself and Lewis Hamilton - the difference between a win and a second place.
