Sebastian Vettel extended his lead in Austria, and Valtteri Bottas' race win allowed him to close the gap to his teammate to put Lewis Hamilton under pressure. Behind them, though, things are really getting close. Three drivers sit on 18 points, with Lance Stroll picking up points, and Romain Grosjean getting a great haul to join that midfield pack.

Sergio Pérez also made progress this weekend, leapfrogging Max Verstappen for sixth place. The Force India driver enjoyed another good points finish, whilst the Red Bull driver found himself retiring from yet another race to push him down to seventh in the standings.
